Simply Maintain (Simply Cleaners Agency Ltd) Health and Safety Statement
Simply Maintain acknowledges and accepts its statutory obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and all other relevant Acts and Regulations.
Our company policy is to take all practicable and reasonable measures to prevent injury, ill heath, damage and or loss and therefore endeavour to ensure the safety of all staff, contractors and public who are affected by our work activities. Simply Maintain will also take all reasonable and appropriate measures in our working practices to prevent adverse environmental impact.
Simply Maintain recognises that a safe system of working can only be achieved by the active involvement of all management, staff and contractors and therefore endeavour to ensure commitment to these principles by the continued full training of all staff in safe working practices.
We will ensure that risk assessments for work activities are carried out, documented and the appropriate measures necessary to remove or reduce risk, are recorded and correctly implemented.
All employees of the company have a legal obligation to work in a safe manner and to ensure that all working practices and conditions are safe. The Company therefore seeks the full cooperation of all staff to ensure the continued safety of all persons affected by our working practices. In the event of any unsafe conditions or equipment, all work involving these circumstances must cease and be reported to the line manager without delay.
It is the responsibility of all employees to comply with the Health and Safety requirements of client companies.
The Company will continually monitor its health and safety performance and will actively seek input from all levels of staff in regard to its implementation and improvement
This policy statement will be brought to the attention of all staff and we will endeavour to ensure that it’s contents are understood in their entirety.
Overall responsibility for this policy rests with the Managing Director, however day to day implementation is delegated to members of the management / supervisory team.
